Philipp Franz Lesage de Richée is a German Baroque composer and lutenist from the second half of the 17th century. According to some sources, Lesage de Richée was a pupil of the French lutenist Charles Mouton. He also claims to be a pupil of François Dufaut and Gaultier and quotes Dufaut in some of his pieces.
Lesage de Richée published in 1695 a collection of music for lute entitled
Cabinet der Lauten and composed of 98 pieces gathered in 12 suites. This collection constitutes one of the best examples of German lute repertoire influenced by the French style.
